Maintaining and protecting Leather

-> Do leave your suggestions

Mike Saunders:
Quiver, armbrace, belt, pouch, glove and tab.
Use a leather conditioner or saddle soap.
Let the product half absorb and while still slightly “wet”, take a stick of ordinary beeswax and rub it in.
Allow to dry fully, then rub again with a stick (not a paste) of real beeswax.
Then polish and polish again.

Finger tab or gloves ?

-> Do leave your suggestions

Name: Pip Bickerstaffe
Suggestion: Many people these days seem to use shooting gloves with their longbows. With a little practice you should find that you get a much faster and cleaner loose with a decent finger tab.
You can see an increase in arrow speed of around 10 feet per second by using a tab, this as much as you might hope for from a 5 lb heavier bow. So rather than risk becoming overbowed why not get the best out of the bow you have, then when you do buy a heavier bow you will see the genuine benefit of what it has to offer.
